E. W. Moon, Inc. provided utility investigation and mapping for construction of a new taxilane at Los Angeles International Airport. Along with the new Taxilane, the existing site of the AA Low Bay Hangar and Sky Chef facilities will require remediation and the construction of a new Remain Overnight (RON) parking apron with associated Taxilane on both the east and west sides along with supporting aircraft facilities.

Utilities investigation included all utilities, water, fire protection, sewer, electrical, communications and gas except storm drain. Record drawings were obtained for each utility, and E. W. Moon, Inc. coordinated potholing to verify location and depth. Relocation plans were prepared to address conflicting utilities. Demolition of the existing TWA Hangar and new fire hydrants were provided to serve a new Remain Overnight (RON) area adjacent to the Taxilane.
